Statement from Minister

The following is a statement from Finance and Treasury Board Minister Diana Whalen about a meeting with film industry officials today, April 17.

"This was a constructive meeting. I'm grateful the industry could spend the full afternoon in discussion with our government officials.

"We have agreed to not get into the details of our talks. There is more work to be done, and we'll continue consultations next week."
