Premier Congratulates Justin Trudeau

Premier Stephen McNeil offered congratulations today, Oct. 20, to prime minister-designate Justin Trudeau on his victory in the federal election.

"I want to congratulate Mr. Trudeau on his electoral victory," said Premier McNeil.

"I look forward to having a prime minister who will sit down with the provinces to develop a national vision that is in the best interests of Nova Scotians and all Canadians.

"I also offer my appreciation to all the men and women who put their names forward for office in this election, for caring about making our country and our communities better."
