National Aboriginal Day, June 21, is an opportunity for Canadians to show their respect for and to learn more about the rich culture and heritage of Canada's Aboriginal people. Government works well with leaders in Aboriginal communities and organizations to help make communities, and the whole province, better places to live, work and raise a family. History is the foundation for the future, and the Mi'kmaq in Nova Scotia have a strong heritage, a vibrant culture and a glowing future.
