Petition of Luke Harpel and Others

view page 1 2 3

Although Nova Scotia Land Papers usually do not provide information relevant to built heritage research, they sometimes surprise researchers. For example, Luke, John and George Harpel petitioned for land at Jeddore in 1827. Their petition mentions they already had three houses, two barns and had made improvements to the land.

Date: 8 December 1827
