Damage to St. James Church, Pictou, After Hurricane Edna

Hurricane Edna struck Nova Scotia in 1954. It toppled the St. James Anglican Church, Pictou, spire on 12 September 1954.

The parish replaced the tower, albeit with a shorter one, at a cost of $7,500.
