Recommend your Compromising this Affair with him in the best
manner you can, with this letter our Friend Mr Samuel Austen
will forward you a small Box directed to your Self, left at my
Compting [Counting] House by an Unknown Hand, the Person said there was
a Letter for you Inclosed therein, I wish you may Receive it Safe
& being all that Offers at Present I remain with Respect
