Dear Eason
          I send you by McDormonds
Schooner a fine dog which I
Think you will find superior
For the Moose when we meet
in March you had better cut
his ears and tail as he is
not come by honestly he is
only six months old. Call
him any thing you like and
perhaps we will bring another
up when we go. I have bespoke
4 bull pups so you see when
they grow up what little chance
the moose will have. I hope
you and the Hardwicks got
