"W.J. Kinnear's Grp [group]", ca. 1880
William J. Kinnear and Isabella L. Ryan were married in Halifax in 1869. Kinnear was a book-keeper by profession. By about 1880, the entire family – including doll – went to the Notman Studio for a formal portrait sitting, forever fixing in time a typical Halifax family of the late Victorian period.
