At a Council held by order of the Honoura ble Lt Governor Armstrong at his own house in his Majestys Garrison of Annapolis Royall on Monday the 25th of 7ber 1732 at 10 o' the Clock A: M:

Mr Mitchels Deputation as Deputy Surveyor laid before the Board

     His HonourAcquainted the Board that Col.o Dunbar his Majestys Surveyor General of the Woods, had sent here Mr George Mitchell, One of his Deputys, to Receive such Orders as may be judged Necessary for the Execution of that Office, in this part of the Province And that as Mr Mitchell had given him the perusal of his Deputation and Other Instructions in Relation to the Lands & Woods in Nova Scotia He had therefore Judged it Necessary to Communicate the same to the Board in Order to Consult upon such Surveys to be Made As may tend to the Good of the service and forward the settling of the Province, Which being Read they Were Orderd to be Registred, And also that An Order Should be prepard for Mr Mitchel to Make a Survey of the Lands upon the River of Annapolis Royall

Then was Read a Petition from William Haw Praying a Small plott of Ground lying between Mr Bloindens and that Garden formerly in ye Possession of [320] Sergt Cundy, but now in the possession of Capt Jno Jephson in the Upper Town of Annapolis Royall

     Agreed that the same may be Granted him Provided that No other person hath any just Right to the same
