     Att a Council held at the Secretarys house in his Majesties ffort of Annapolis Royall on Tuesday the 29th of Octr 1734 att 11 o’ the Clock A: M:

Orders issued upon the Deputies Request for Repairing the high Ways

     The Secretary acquainted the Board that upon the Petition of the Deputies of this River, his Honour Intended to Ishue out the following Orders for the Repairing & making the highways from the nethermost to the uppermost houses on both sides of this River of Annapolis Royall viztt

    

     One to the Inhabitants Directed to their Depts for that purpose
John Hebert Jno. Baptist Terriot's petition.

     One to Lt Edwd Amhurst, & one to Mr George Mitchell, The Deputy Surveyors, To Oversee & direct the same Conformable to the Request of the said Deputies And also another order at the Request of John Hebert, John Bapt Terriot & Oliver Daigre Inhabitants of Mines, Prohibiting one Noel Pinot & others from Possessing or Improving any part of some Land which [398] Which they the said Hebert, Terriot & Daigre say they had bought of one John Kessis at Shickanecto; & therefore desires their advice & Opinion

     Both said petitions, and the aforesaid Orders being read

     As to the orders of the High wayes they were Approv'd of And

     As to the order upon Heberts Petition it was rejected, & agreed (that neither party may be Injured) That His Honour may be pleased to send a discreationary order to the Deputies of Shickanecto to Examine and Enquire into the Partys Right & pretentions, and to make a Report thereof Accordingly
