Series 6 - "Micmac." Series consists of correspondence, research notes, draft chapters for Red Earth: Tales of the Micmacs, with an introduction to the Customs and Beliefs of the Micmac Indians. Series also includes articles, newspaper clippings, periodicals, ephemera, sketches and coloured slides for an address. Subjects include: Mi'kmaq in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, Mi'kmaq beliefs and customs, petroglyphs ("rock drawings") and other North American First Nations groups.
