The Prat Sisters: Free Spirits of the 1890s

Inscription on reverse: "Elizabeth Duport Prat, painted by Annie L. Prat, 1894." Elizabeth Duport Morse was born at Paradise, N.S., ca. 1835, and married Samuel Prat in 1857. They had five children who lived to adulthood: Annie, Rupert, Charlotte, Minnie, and May. Elizabeth died at Wolfville in 1913, at the age of 78.
