Deed for the Isaac Lantz Mill at New Ross

view page 1 2

Item discusses a deed of mill made to Isaac Lantz of New Ross in the County of Lunenburg, from members of a committee from Chester and Glengarry of New Ross. The mill was to be situated on the western side of the road leading from New Ross to Chester on the banks of the Gold River. The committee had agreed to assist Isaac in building the mill; document goes on to describe conditions of that help. (both pages of said document are torn in half, one had been taped together but the tape has lost adhesiveness, at some point the pages were kept together with a paper clip which has rusted on the documents, the seal is affixed on the second page).
