His Excellency
Sir George Prevost, Bart.
Lieutenant-Governor and Commander in Chief, in and over His Majesty's Province of Nova-Scotia, and its Dependencies, &c. &c. &c.

To the Honorable Michael Wallace, Treasurer of the Province.
You are hereby directed to pay unto the Commissioners for Sable Island, the Sum of One hundred and fifty five pounds, twelve shillings and five pence - towards payment of the superintendants salary, and the wages of servants on that establishment Eca Eca [etcetera etcetera?] for the present year out of the Duties of Import and Excise appropriated for the Support of His Majesty's Government, as granted by the Assembly of this Province. And in so doing this shall be your Warrant.

Given under my Hand and Seal at Arms at Halifax, this 24th Day of October in the 49th Year of His Majesty's Reign.
