I can exterminate them. The trap takes from 15 to 20 a night. I have sent all off the Island of any value, except the boats which they could not take. I expect any moment the arrival of some of our people with some cranberries from the east end. Please tell Sir George Prevost Bar. I most humbly thank him for the [presents?] I have received and the state secretary for his charming letter which I had not time to answer - in the interim I am your Honors Most Obd & Verry Humb Sert James Morris
