And having so completely loaded the said Schooner as well in her hold as upon Deck, to return to Halifax direct, with all possible dispatch, bringing with me the Master and Seamen belonging to the said Brig Hard times, who are now upon the Island, they finding themselves with Provisions on the passengers

In consideration of the Due and faithful performance of the above specified services, and delivery of the Articles loaded on board my Schooner Hercules as aforesaid, at Halifax, I shall expect to be paid ---

I have considered the proposal you have made me as Above Stated for the Hire of your Schooner Hercules to go to Sable Island and back again to this Port, which I hereby accept of in behalf of all intrusted therein.

For the hire of his Schooner Hercules to go to Sable Island to bring up the property saved from the wreck of the Brig Hard Times of Philadelphia standed there.
