By His Excellency, Lieutenant-General, The Right Honorable George Earl of Dalhousie, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Honorable Military Order of the Bath, Lieutenant-Governor and Commander in Chief in and over His Majesty's Province of Nova-Scotia and its Dependencies &c. &c. &c

To the Hon. Michael Wallace, Treasurer of the Province.
You are hereby directed to pay unto the Commissioner of the Island of Sable the sum of Four Hundred pound notes for the support of the Establishment upon that island the present year

£400.0.0

Out of the Duties of Impost and Excise appropriated for the Support of His Majesty's Government, as granted by the General Assembly of the Province. And in so doing, this shall be your Warrant.

Given under my Hand and Seal at Arms at Halifax, this Eleventh Day of December in the 57th Year of His Majesty's Reign.
