Seventh, the anchors, Iron Chair Plates, and Copper on the Detroit, could not have been easily got until, quite Lately, that the Ship was hove up on the Beach, but since that they have been able to get it; -

Eigth, where Mr. Townsend states that the Superintendant Informed him that there was but Seventy head of Horses there Eighteen years ago, I beg leave to correct and say, that there was but Seventy Head of Horses on the Island when he went there first, Forty One years ago;

All of which I humbly beg leave to submit,

Captain Townsend also is remarking on the Fulton, Quotes from the Circumstance of her Rudder not being Broken, this is not a Proper criterion to go by, as the Rudders of many Wrecks that I have known remain uninjured until the final breaking up of the whole of the vessel,
