is conducted by Health Canada.  At least 10,000 Canadians 15 years and older are interviewed every year about their experience with alcohol, drugs and other substances.

Canadian Tobacco Use Monitoring Survey (CTUMS) (website)
provides timely, reliable, and continual data on tobacco use and related issues.

Canadian Community Health Survey (website)
is a cross-sectional survey that collects information related to health status, health care utilization and health determinants for the Canadian population. It relies upon a large sample of respondents and is designed to provide reliable estimates at the health region level.
