Parking Regulations for the Town of Shelburne

made under Section 152 of the

Motor Vehicle Act

R.S.N.S. 1989, c. 293

N.S. Reg. 293/92 (December 3, 1992)

 

Whereas it is desirable that the parking of vehicles upon certain public streets and highways be regulated by the placing of traffic signs limiting parking to one and a half hours during the daytime;


And whereas Section 152 of the Motor Vehicle Act, Chapter 293, R.S.N.S. 1989, as amended, provides that the traffic authority of the Town of Shelburne may make regulations prohibiting or restricting the parking or leaving standing of vehicles upon any highway or part thereof in the limits of the Town and that such regulations may prohibit or restrict the parking or leaving standing of vehicles except in accordance with a sign or device on a parking meter;


Therefore, by virtue of the power vested in me under the provision of Section 152 of the Motor Vehicle Act, I, as Traffic Authority for the Town of Shelburne do hereby make the following regulations:


No driver shall park or leave standing a vehicle on the side of any street as shown on the attached Schedule “A” in the Town of Shelburne for a period exceeding one and a half hours between the hours of 9:00 o’clock in the forenoon and 5:00 o’clock in the afternoon of the same day, Monday to Friday inclusive.
