Catalogue card reads: "Micmac lady sitting on chair holding small child; she was Lone Cloud's daughter, who was killed in the Halifax Explosion. She was married to Jim MacDonald." This is Rosie, the first child of Jeremiah Bartlett Alexis and his Maliseet wife, Elizabeth Paul. She was killed in the Halifax Explosion of 1917, and at that time was living at Tufts Cove, Dartmouth.
