Charles Labrador, who kindly lent this photograph to the Nova Scotia Museum for copying, is the great-grandson of Chief Pictou. Ben Pictou stands in front of a Mi'kmaq-made settee, in the 'Rustic Furniture' style. Many Mi'kmaq made and sold this type of furniture.
