Chief Matthew Francis of the Pictou Landing Reserve, and his wife Agnes. From a souvenir-postcard booklet of the period, lent to the Nova Scotia Museum for copying by Sister Martha Sark. The photo was taken 15-21 July 1923, during the re-enactment and celebration of the 1773 landing of Scottish settlers at Pictou.
