Mi'kmaq actress Rhonda Simon in costume. Her wrap-around dress is fringed in front, and she also wears 'sleeves,' each of which cover an arm and half the chest. At the request of the Micmac Association for Cultural Studies, during the course of 1980-1981, the Nova Scotia Museum, Learning Resources & Technology, and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Halifax, produced MI'KMAQ, a television series on Mi'kmaq life circa 1400 A.D. Taken in August of 1980, during the taping of what became the Wedding Episode.
