IMAGE INFORMATION


An exhibit of a scaled-down wigwam, Mi'kmaq craft-work, and people in costume, which was erected in Victoria Park, Truro, to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Confederation, on 1 July 1927. Chief Ben Christmas of Sydney is at left, Joe Julian of the Millbrook Reserve, Truro, is at far left. The seated woman, child, and man at the centre are presently unidentified. Note the wooden planters at either end, and the birchbark canoe model.
