This Mi'kmaq exhibit, featuring a basketmaker at work, and a model wigwam, much smaller than actual size, took place in The Armouries, Halifax, on 13 October 1924. Jeremiah Bartlett Alexis (alias Jerry Lonecloud) is the man at left, the child is Nancy Paul, daughter of Dick Paul near Waverly, and the basketmaker is Mrs. Joe Brooks of Truro.
