IMAGE INFORMATION

One of a number of artworks based on a watercolour by Hibbert Newton Binney, Halifax, 1791. This artist has been inspired to put something in the outstretched fist of the child, where the original had a bird. It appears to be a miniature bow and an arrow, but it is not possible to be sure.
