Yarmouth RMV is Moving

Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations (Oct. 2000 - March 2014)

Residents in the Yarmouth area will soon have better and more convenient access to government services. Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations announced today, March 14, that its Registry of Motor Vehicles service in Yarmouth will soon be available at the Access Nova Scotia Centre.

As of Monday, March 25, the RMV will be open for business at the Access Centre location in the Provincial Building at 10 Starrs Rd. There will be no disruption in services.

"RMV customers in this area will notice a huge improvement in the new location," said Angus MacIsaac, Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations. "The Access Centre in the Provincial Building is a far more convenient and spacious facility for both customers and staff."

The Access Nova Scotia Centre will now provide a complete range of government services including licensing, registrations, driver's examinations, debtor assistance, residential tenancies, joint stocks and government information.

"Area residents will now be provided with one-stop service in an excellent location," said Ron Whiting, manager of the western region for Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations. "We will continue to provide our usual high standard of service to residents of Yarmouth, Shelburne and Digby counties under one roof."

The new mailing address for the Registry of Motor Vehicles is Provincial Building, 10 Starrs Rd., Suite 127, Yarmouth, N.S., B5A 2T1. The hours of operation are Monday and Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
