WATERFRONT DEVELOPMENT CORP.--U.S. Coast Guard Vessel Eagle Arrives in Halifax


The United States Coast Guard vessel Eagle arrives in Halifax today, May 2, for a two-day port visit.

The Eagle is expected to arrive at the Cable Wharf at 6 p.m. and the captain hopes to come into Halifax Harbour under sail.

While in Halifax, the ship will be open to the public between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 3. It will depart Halifax on Sunday, May 4.

The Eagle is a sailing training vessel run by the United States Coast Guard and operates out of New London, Conn. The ship carries 12 officers, 75 crew and 90 officer-candidates.
