Alcohol Ban in Some Provincial Parks

Natural Resources (to July 2018)

The Department of Natural Resources will place a temporary ban on alcohol in some provincial parks, beginning Friday, May 20. The ban is to help ensure visitors have a safe and enjoyable camping experience.

"Last year we imposed a temporary ban on alcohol in some of our provincial parks because of a number of incidents involving alcohol in previous years," said Richard Hurlburt, Minister of Natural Resources. As in previous years, the safety of visitors to our parks remains our number one priority."
