HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 111

Highway 111 east bound, from Exit 5 at MicMac Boulevard to Lake Banook will have one-lane closures due to work for the North Dartmouth Trunk Sewer project from Tuesday, Oct. 21 until Friday Oct. 31.

Signs, cones and barrels are on site. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Cherryfield Bridge

Cherryfield Bridge will be closed from Trunk 10 in Cherryfield to the North River Road for deck repairs from Monday, Oct. 20 until Wednesday, Oct. 22.

Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Shore Road West in Middleton will be reduced to one lane for road, culvert and guardrail upgrades until Friday, Oct. 31.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Highway 104

A section of Route 366 at Amherst Shore Park will be closed for installation of a new culvert until Monday, Oct. 20.

Highway 104 from Exit 31A at Addington Forks west for 4.0 four kilometres will have alternating one-lane closures for crack filling and sealing until Friday, Oct. 24.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Keltic Drive

Sections of Keltic Drive, between Seaview Drive and O'Neils Road, will be restricted to one lane until Saturday, Nov. 15.

Sections of Morrison Road, between Birch Grove Road and the intersection of Trunk 22, are restricted to one lane until Saturday, Nov. 15.

Main-a-Dieu Road will have a one-lane closure starting two kilometres east of Trunk 22 for 4.7 kilometres towards Main-a-Dieu until Friday, Oct. 31.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Newcombe Bridge

Newcombe Bridge, about 17.4 kilometres west from the Cumberland-Colchester county line on Trunk 2, will have one-lane closures to replace the rail and repair concrete until Friday, Oct. 24.

Traffic control signals are in place. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Route 366: The section of the road at Amherst Shore Park will be closed for installation of a new culvert until Monday, Oct. 20.

Thompson Road, between Crowley Road and Pugwash River Road, will be closed for culvert replacement until further notice.

DIGBY COUNTY: Exit 25

Trunk 1 and Back Road at Exit 25 on Highway 101 will be closed for construction of a new interchange until Monday, Dec. 15.

There will be a detour on Acacia Valley Road.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Glenelg Church Road

Glenelg Church Road from Route 347 at Aspen south to Route 348 at Glenelg will have intermittent one-lane closures for upgrading, and re-paving until Friday, Oct. 31.

Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday to Friday and some Saturdays.

Route 316 will have alternating one-lane closures for upgrading, gravelling and repaving from the intersection with Trunk 16 and Half Island Cove, west for 4.7 kilometres, until Friday, Oct. 31.

Traffic control people and a pilot vehicle are on site. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday with some Sunday work.

South River Lake Road, from the fire hall at Salmon River Lake east for 5.5 kilometres, will have alternating one-lane closures for upgrading, gravelling and repaving until Friday, Oct. 31.

Traffic control people and a pilot vehicle are on site. Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and some Saturdays.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Trunk 16

Trunk 16 between Boylston Bridge and the Department of Natural Resources office will be reduced to one lane and traffic will be detoured around the work site to allow for slope repairs and repaving until Friday, Oct. 31.

Traffic control people will be on site during the day and traffic signals will operate at night. Work will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday to Saturday possibly some Sundays.

Trunk 16 will have alternating one-lane closures for upgrading, gravelling and repaving from Phillips Harbour going east for 2.8 kilometres to Half Island Cove until Friday, Oct. 31.

Ingramport Bridge on Trunk 3 will be closed for repairs until Sunday, Nov. 30. A temporary bridge is in place south of the work zone.

Drivers are advised to obey signs and reduce speed on the temporary bridge and in the work zone.

About one kilometre of St. Margarets Bay Road from Albert Walker Driver to Northwest Arm Drive will have one-lane closures for clearing, subgrading, gravelling and paving until Friday, Oct. 31.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Route 333

Sections of Route 333 (Prospect Road) between Beechville and Prospect Bay will be reduced to one lane to construct a bicycle lane.

All lanes will remain open during the morning and afternoon rush hours. Work is scheduled for completion by Friday, Oct. 31.

HANTS COUNTY: Bog Road Overpass Closed

The overpass that carries Bog Road over Highway 101 is closed until Sunday, Nov. 30. It will be replaced as part of the Highway 101 twinning project.

A marked detour route is available on Rand Street, Bishopville Road, and Old Post Road.

HANTS COUNTY: Halfway River Bridge, Highway 101

Continuing work on the new bridge and approaches at Halfway River on Highway 101 will require intermittent lane closures on the existing on- and off-ramps at Exit 8 until Friday, Oct 24.

Work takes place from sunrise to sunset, Monday to Friday. Traffic control people and signs are on site.

HANTS COUNTY: Route 215 Detour

Traffic on Route 215 in the Urbania area near Stewiacke will be detoured because of damage to a culvert. A two-kilometre detour is provided on Ox Bow Road (known locally as Old Loop Shore Road) until further notice.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Grand Etang Bridge

The Grand Etang Bridge will occasionally be reduced to one lane for bridge replacement until Friday, Oct. 31.

A detour is available via a temporary bridge, marked with signs and directional lighting. Traffic control people will be on site.

Traffic on sections of Highway 105, west of Exit 3, is restricted to one lane for repaving until Friday, Oct. 31.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Murray Truss Bridge

Murray Truss Bridge on the Murray Hill Road is closed because of storm damage. The bridge will be assessed and the road remains closed until repairs are completed.

The Portree Bridge on Hatchery Road will be closed until further notice.

There is a detour on East Big Intervale and Hatchery Roads.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Trunk 19

Sections of Trunk 19 will be reduced to one lane for repaving from the intersection at Margaree Forks for eight kilometres south to the intersection with Route 395 at South West Margaree.

Signs and a pilot vehicle are on site. Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. until Friday, Oct. 24.

Trunk 19 from Little Judique going north for 5.2 kilometres will be reduced to one lane for repaving until Friday, Oct. 31.

The Upper South West Mabou Road, known locally as the Irish Road, is closed because of storm damage. The road, between Moran Road and the River Intervale Road, is expected to be closed for at least two weeks.

KINGS COUNTY: Aylesford Road

About 6.4 kilometres of Aylesford Road will be reduced to one lane for paving until Friday, Oct. 31.

Cambridge Road will be closed for bridge repairs to Cambridge Bridge until Friday, Oct. 31.
