Boil Water Order Lifted

A boil water order issued Tuesday, March 6, to the Nova Scotia Community College Marconi Campus and Cape Breton University has been lifted.

The order was issued after one of six water supply sites tested positive for total coliform bacteria.

Positive tests can be caused by many things, including testing errors or contaminated samples.

Samples over the past two days were negative for E. Coli and total coliform.
