Landline Phone Service Contract Goes to Negotiation

Internal Services (June 2014 - May 2019)

After an independent review, a vendor has been chosen and government will begin negotiating a contract for landline telephone services.

In June, government received a procurement process review by Grant Thornton and accepted recommendations to improve documenting and scoring systems. The external review also found government's purchasing practices for this contract were fair and unbiased.

Since then, consultants have reviewed and scored bids to supply landline telephone service to the provincial government and other public sector groups and recommended a vendor.

Negotiations should take about three months.
