Updated Traffic Advisories and Road Closures

Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal (Oct. 2007 - Feb. 2021)

Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal advises that sections of roads are closed or partially closed in areas across the province after receiving heavy rain and high winds.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution, use alternate routes and watch for washed-out shoulders and debris on the roads. Motorists are also advised not to cross blockades.

Damaged or flooded roads that are not marked can be reported to 511.

Crews will be working non-stop to repair washed-out roads and will monitor roads in case further closures are needed.

An updated list of roads affected can be found at http://511.gov.ns.ca/en/text_report.html .
