The province released its biannual progress report on recommendations made by the office of the auditor general today, June 28.
The report provides a status update of all recommendations made from April 2009 to January 2012.
The province committed to providing greater accountability and transparency when it comes to reporting on the work done to complete recommendations made by the auditor general. The six-month update shows the progress that has been made to improve the programs and services delivered to Nova Scotians.
Since April 2009, the auditor general has made 435 recommendations. As of May 31, 428 recommendations were completed or in progress.
