Nova Scotia Celebrates Culture Days

Communities, Culture and Heritage (Jan. 2011 - Aug. 2021)

The fifth annual edition of Culture Days, a national celebration of arts and culture, will feature performances, hands-on activities, open houses, exhibits and more in communities across Nova Scotia.

The coast-to-coast weekend event Friday, Sept. 26 to Sunday, Sept. 28, features free activities to raise Canadians' awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement in the arts and cultural life of their communities.

"Culture Days showcase our creative and vibrant communities and there is something for everyone," said Communities, Culture and Heritage Minister Tony Ince. "I encourage Nova Scotians to take advantage of the arts and culture activities throughout the province, not only during Culture Days, but every day."

There are many one-of-a-kind events, including the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic event with Symphony Nova Scotia's Peter and the Wolf on Sunday. Admission to the museum is free that afternoon.
