Lorsque Carolann Mroz s'est inscrite au programme de baccalauréat international (BI) à l'école Cole Harbour District High School il y a deux ans, elle était à la recherche d'un défi tant au niveau personnel que scolaire. Elle voulait aussi une reconnaissance au niveau universitaire pour l'excellence dont elle a fait preuve dans un des programmes d'études secondaires pré-universitaires les plus respectés au monde.
