On Feb. 8, I met with chairs from the province's eight school boards and announced the school board budget targets for next year. These targets are designed to put children and learning first while ensuring the province continues to live within its means by matching funding levels with the decline in student enrolment.

Le gouvernement provincial a présenté aux conseils scolaires, aujourd'hui 8 février, les objectifs budgétaires qui visent à mettre les enfants et l'apprentissage au premier plan tout en permettant à la Nouvelle-Écosse de continuer de vivre selon ses moyens, en s'assurant que le niveau de financement correspond au déclin du nombre d'inscriptions dans les écoles.
