Sexual Violence and Prevention Supports

Sexual Violence and Prevention Supports include Public Awareness and Training resources, Community Mobilization Programs, Youth Outreach Programs, and programming to address Sexual Exploitation.

Public Awareness and Training includes free resources available online and for download to help Nova Scotians learn more about sexual violence: what it is, where to get help and how to support survivors. Resources include posters, videos, and an online training course.

Community Mobilization is a program that mobilizes and builds stronger local responses to support survivors of sexual violence and to encourage citizens of all ages to take a role in preventing and responding to sexual violence in a trauma-informed, youth-centred and culturally relevant way.
