Description of Organization:
The Canadian Diabetes Association's Mission is to lead the fight against diabetes by helping people with diabetes live healthy lives while we work to find a cure. We will deliver our Mission by: Providing people with diabetes and healthcare professionals with education and services; Advocating on behalf of people with diabetes; Supporting research; and Translating research into practical applications

Description of Membership:
Regular Members shall be entitled to: (i) if otherwise qualified, stand for election as a Director; (ii) submit to the Nominating Committee the names of individuals to stand for election as Directors; (iii) elect Delegate (Elected) Members; and (iv) vote on such fundamental matters as properly come before them, including, as appropriate, those matters referred to in Article 15 Delegate Members shall be entitled to receive notice of and attend all meetings of the Delegate Members and to vote on all matters on which members of a corporation are entitled to vote including those specified in Section 4.1.
