Description of Organization:
Diabetes Canada leads the fight against diabetes by helping those affected by diabetes live healthy lives, preventing the onset and consequences of diabetes, and discovering a cure. Diabetes Canada is a national, not for profit health charity.

Description of Membership:
Membership is broken down in to basic unpaid membership, classic paid membership and membership for the professional section for qualifying healthcare professionals. Regular membership is required to participate in elections, hold office, apply or nominate candidates for professional awards or to apply for research funding.
