I. Description

As part of Canada Fortescue Future Industries Ltd.’s Canada-wide efforts to identify investments in green hydrogen production opportunities, engagement with a cross-section of Nova Scotia’s public sector is anticipated. In the initial stages, this engagement is focused on understanding Nova Scotia’s interest in green hydrogen production from renewable electricity sources and refining the engagement accordingly. At this early stage, engagement is not focused on any particular legislation, regulation, program, contract or financial benefit; however, as Canada Fortescue Future Industries Ltd.’s engagement progresses (if programs, policies, etc. of interest are identified) – this registration will be updated accordingly. Availability of government support in various forms will be a factor in deciding where in Canada Fortescue’s green hydrogen facilities will be located.
