Description
Advocates for proactive privacy laws, due process rights, and other policies that proactively welcome and engender computer systems hosting in the Province, placing NS at the forefront of due process and privacy with regard to the handling of electronic and photonic information. Atlantic Canada's GATEWAY initiative appears soley to address transportation infrastructure, while we need: -to address information and communications technology infrastructure. -the data centre, and the integration and optimization of our telecoms resources. -enabling infrastructure both for our burgeoning financial services back office industry, and also to sieze opportunity in Europe and North America. -more ICT infrastructure in Nova Scotia. -lower cost capital in order to deploy it. -electrical utility tariffs to offer manufacturing rates to data centres. -legislation to facilitate our region's value proposition to the financial services industries in New York City and London.   View
