El Paso Canada Pipeline Company is developing a major new natural gas pipeline originating off the coast of Nova Scotia. Named the Blue Atlantic Transmission System, the proposed 1 billion cubic feet per day pipeline is projected to deliver significant new natural gas supplies to eastern Canada and the northeastern United States. El Paso Canada Pipeline is committed to opening avenues for new, low-pollution, energy alternatives for eastern Canada and the northeastern United States. El Paso Canada Pipeline believes that real value can be created in this region by giving all participants along the value chain a new option for natural gas deliveries.
