Licence? |
Anyone in Nova Scotia who wants to purchase fluid milk from
a distributor and distribute it (a) directly to consumers, or (b) to retailers
for resale.

& Process: |
Before seeking a Milk Jobber Licence, an applicant must have
an agreement with a fluid milk distributor.
An application form can then be obtained from the Nova Scotia Natural
Products Marketing Council. When completed, it is submitted to the General
Manager of the Council, along with the applicable fee.
If all requirements are met and the application is approved, the licence
will be sent to the applicant by mail.

10 - 15 business days
Provided that all the items that must accompany the application have been received
(Please allow several extra days for mail delivery.)

| Expiry & Renewal:
|
This licence is valid for 1 year from the day it is issued.
It can be renewed, and the Department will send out a renewal notice before
it expires.

Please pay by cheque or money order made out to the Minister of Finance.

The applicant must have the permission of the Milk Distributor to distribute their fluid dairy products.
