The PSFC Office works with users, service providers, manufacturers, volunteers, professional associations, other government departments, other governments and many other individuals and groups to develop and manage a wide variety of field communications services for public employees and others working in every corner of the Province.

The PSFC provides:

• Dispatch, Call Answering, and Call Notification Services
• Volunteer Sector Coordination
• Communications Equipment Training
• Mobile Communications Support for Emergency and Planned Events

Services are provided via the crown-owned Nova Scotia Integrated Mobile Radio System (NSIMRS) and the Bell-Aliant owned Trunked Mobile Radio Service (TMRS), and several other communications support services.
