Nova Scotia provincial government employees are committed to supporting their local community agencies and programs for healthy and successful youth; empowering people to overcome challenges; and building safe, vibrant neighbourhoods.
The mission of the provincial government employee's United Way campaign is:
A combination of human and financial resources allows the United Way of the Halifax Region to tackle two main issues within HRM communities - poverty and health.
Every year more than 1,600 provincial government employees choose to donate to the United Way, helping to fund 55 agencies and over 100 programs.
Donating is not about job title or salary level, but the desire to contribute and make a difference in your community. When you become a Leader donor you are setting an example for how everyone can help make a difference, no matter the size of the contribution.
Leadership levels:
Friend $500 - $999
Leader $1,000 - $2,499
Partner $2,500 - $4,999
Builder $5,000 - $9,999
