Registration of Passenger Vehicles Used for Driver Instruction
in High Schools Regulationsmade under subsection 302(1) of the
Motor Vehicle Act

Reg. 190/86The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation dated the 27th day of June, 1986, and pursuant to subsection (1) of Section 270 of Chapter 191 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1967, [subsection 302(1), R.S.N.S. 1989, c. 293], the Motor Vehicle Act, is pleased to revoke an Order in Council made on the 19th day of September, 1957, respecting the registration of passenger vehicles used for driver instruction in high schools and determine, effective as of and from the lst day of August, 1986:
(a) that the registration fee for passenger vehicles used solely for driver instruction in high schools shall be the nominal annual fee plus the certificate of registration fee on first registrations as provided in the schedule of fees approved under Section 270 [302] of the Motor Vehicle Act; and
(b) that the permits issued for such vehicles shall be endorsed "Valid only for actual instruction of pupils".
