Real Estate Trading Commission Regulations made under clauses 44(1)(b), (e) & (f) of the
Real Estate Trading Act

O.I.C. 97-628 (October 1, 1997), N.S. Reg. 131/971 These regulations may be cited as the Real Estate Trading Commission Regulations.
2 For greater certainty, "majority vote" means a vote of the majority of voting members of the Commission present at a meeting.
3 (1) The Commission is vested with the power to sue and be sued, to contract and be contracted with in its name, to have a common seal and to alter or change it at pleasure, to have perpetual succession, to acquire and hold property or movables and to alienate the same at pleasure.
(2) Members of the Commission when acting within the powers and duties assigned to them under the Act and the regulations are exempt from personal liability for its debts, obligations or acts.
4 The Commission shall forward to the Superintendent a copy of each annual financial report filed in respect of the trust accounts of licensed brokers for the first year of the operation of the Commission.
