Multi-Classification Vehicles Registration Regulations made under Section 302 of the
Motor Vehicle Act
R.S.N.S. 1989, c. 293
N.S. Reg. 41/66 (August 17, 1966)
The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Highways dated the 11th day of August, 1966 and pursuant to Section 245 [Section 302] of the Motor Vehicle Act, is pleased to order and determine:
1 That when a person has obtained registration of one classification, he may be credited with the fee paid in that classification when the same person wishes to register the same vehicle in another classification as follows
(a) farm tractors: Class I to Class II;
(b) farm trucks to full commercial registration;
(c) service trucks to full commercial registration;
(d) ambulances and hearses to full commercial registration or passenger registration.
2 That such credit shall only be allowed where the registration of the vehicle in the new classification occurs within the same registration year.
